This immersive horror game offers more than just a scare. It is also a tool for mental engagement, cognitive development and experimental learning. The game starts off by introducing a few objectives, involving supermarket restocking and customer identification, encouraging focus, routine, and attention to detail. This leads to reducing stress and enhancing mindfulness for the player.

When players misidentify an imposter as a human, the game shifts into a tense chase, similar to that of an “escape room” challenge, improving decision-making under pressure and emotional control, which can be helpful for players to build resilience in high-stress situations. The  survival mechanic introduces problem-solving and promotes lateral thinking, much like educational escape rooms used in modern training programs.
