Amazing!! I know this game is going to be a hit for sure!! As the game progressed it became more difficult to tell who was real or fake! That is the best part. I have high hopes for the replay ability and I thank you for creating this masterpiece to come.
Shift At Midnight is genuinely fun and stands out like a diamond among other indie horror games. It's a game with diverse and independent gameplay mechanics. When the full version comes out, it'll be a lot of fun to run a supermarket with your friends without getting caught by the creatures, thanks to the multiplayer option. I had a blast playing it. I also uploaded a video to my YouTube channel with Turkish subtitles and dubbing to introduce the game to players in my country and help them easily understand the story. If you'd like to watch the video, I've included the link to my YouTube video below. I wish everyone good gaming and enjoyable viewing.
Yooooo I loved this game!! I loved how the game was multiplayer so I could play with my friend! and I love the whole doppelganger concept! We had a bunch of mad funny moments😂😂Please check out my full gameplay of it! Thank you!
SHIFT AT MIDNIGHT was the second game I played, and it was an absolute blast! I really enjoyed the pacing and overall flow of the experience. As someone who stutters, I did feel that the dialogue moved a bit quickly—if possible, it would be great to have it slowed down just a little. Other than that, it’s a fantastic game, and I’m excited for the full release! 😆🥹
if you throw a bottle at clyde when he is at the register he no longer faces the register and will face away from the register. only tested on initial clyde appearance and not on any other customers. he will however continue to face the register upon initiating dialogue.
not a bug but there is no driver in the delivery van and its strange
restocking the shelves feels tedious
if you throw a bottle at the right angle at the register counter, it can clip through and become unretrievable
if you throw enough bottles at clyde so he begins to limp away, if you follow him he eventually begins walking in place and then vanishes in front of you
after discovering the previous glitch, on the short walk back to the gas station i witnessed the next two customers spawn right in front of me at the same time. they then grabbed their items and approached the register at the same time, overlaying their dialogue and they begun sliding back and forth as they fought to be first in line. nate, the second customer, failed to provide any items or any id thus resulting in nate remaining there indefinitely unless you kill him. his presence does not stop other customers coming in and continuing to push him around and act as normal as if he werent there. also discovered nate seems to vanish into thin air after the car doppelganger enconter.
bizarre texture stretching when blood on side of counter extends to the edge, spreading across the counter.
there isnt much reason to actually keep the store clean from what i can tell apart from your own comfort in a not blood stained gas station
this next one could be caused by many things on account of how chaotic this run has been, but upon exploding the first customer after the car doppelganger with c4, the N.E.T. officer will enter but the game will inform you that your shift has ended and you can leave early.
it was at this point i begun recording. upon returning to the gas station on the next day, the NET officer will have remained overnight and can have his interaction completed as normal despite his near 24 hour wait.
robber is immune to bear traps seemingly.
when i picked up the bear trap at about 3:45 the entire ground appeared red momentarily.
bear trap can only kill one person at a time. might be intentional.
it seems after the nate incident, the behavior of multiple customers entering the shop at the same time continues.
if clyde killed immediately after completing purchase on second appearance, you lose the ability to move or look around. ability to activate c4 remains. mobility returns on next interaction.
monster provides clydes id in this scenario.
was able to take bus during panic mode creature encounter thing and entirely leave and ignore them.
love the game, very fun and well made, i just am incredible at destroying it, keep up the good work!
EDIT: if you try to pick up a beartrap and then the beartrap gets obscured during the pickup animation, you cannot move or look around until interrupted by a cutscene. potential softlock material.

Shift at Midnight is honestly one of the funnest multiplayer games I’ve played 👻 Spooky and goofy in the best way possible. I'm going to recommend this to anyone that wants a quality solo or multiplayer game. It's better than anything the big gaming companies have pumped out.
I've never had this much fun with a horror game in a long time in all honesty. I enjoyed the atmosphere and graphic of the game a lot and the monsters were really inventive.

I didn't expect being a gas station worker to include horrors beyond human comprehension, but here we are. And I loved it. Give this game a try if you can
Yo, Shift at Midnight go crazy! The mechanics smooth, the in-game dialogue had me laughin’ one minute and sweatin’ the next 😭. Big props to the dev — Bun Muen .. y’all nailed that perfect mix of weird and scary fr 🔥👻

Very promising, I think it'd be better if customers were randomised though
