Very fun game. I've never played Papers, Please, or anything of the like, but I've seen others play it, and Shift at Midnight scratches that itch. I loved stocking the shelves and cleaning. The preparations for the Entity when you let a doppelganger escape the store was pretty tense. It really felt like you were holding the weight of the entire store on your shoulders
I did have a few minor issues, such as an exclamation point hovering over a shelf that I could not interact with. I ended the game with 99% stocked shelves because of this. The other issue was not being able to change the crouch button in the main menu. I eventually did change it when I got in-game, but I'd like an option to toggle crouch. Very minor thing, and quite picky, but the option would be nice.
Again, fantastic game. I'm looking forward to the full release. I'll be watching this closely!

I think the question categories is the only bad part. Especially head and limbs didnt really make sense to me and the customers couldn't really engange with the questions. Apart from that, awesome demo :)!

For me when I go to the break room it doesn't let me get out of the instructions, i click esc but nothing happens, its not a keyboard issue either because it works on other games. LMK
This was an amazing game excited for what’s to come and can’t wait for the co-op feature. It was a really fun play through and they created did an amazing job.
Wowowow I can't WAIT for this to not be a demo and to play it with friends!! I played only 20 minutes of it and still not on the monster part but i wish to stream it and like explore more. This in multiplayer will be SO FREAKING COOL!! keep up the amazing work!!

as a person who doesn't really enjoy playing horrors, i loved this one! i don't have a lot to say (and tbh the main reason is my not high english level) but there i see a big potential in the game. thanks, author, waiting for new updates :3
this game has an amazing concept and a fun gameplay loop, its annoying not being able to drop trash bags unless you put them in the bin first but its not major.
the main issue i have is the entity, i encountered it on the second shift and honestly its unbearable, no offense but i really feel here needs to be more the player can do against it other than laying traps which dont do alot anyway other than slow it down which again isnt really useful.
I opened the .zip but I could not find the ShiftAtMidnight.exe, can someone please help I don't know if it's something with my computer or if im not looking in the correct place.
I love this game! it combines not my neighbor and supermarket simulator and it does it seamlessly , but i do wish there were more variety with the characters. I'm sure there will be in the full game which is why i will be looking forward to it! No matter the price, I am there!

I played this game for my Indie Horror Fridays and OMG this game is AMAZING!! I definitely need to be notified when the full game is out!!
