This game is so much fun! I loved everything! The only thing would be that doppelgängers weren’t flagged when they answered questions weirdly. I loved playing though! Can’t wait to play the full version!

on the second shift every customer that comes cant get in for some reason, they either get stuck on the entrance of the store or go all the way around the store and get stuck in the back.
at the end of the first shift i was playing around and i boarded up the front entrance, but then i took it down before going to the second shift.
discovered a bug where if on the second time you see clyde, if you explode him with the c4 the second he gets to the counter then his dialogue continues to play and loops infinitely even in the end screen where you see your nightly stats
im unsure if this bug still occurs if you kill him with other things as i only exploded him with the c4 as i deemed it to be the funniest weapon at my disposal
So much in a demo, models were interesting. the gameplay fun. The fact this is a co-op game brings so much potential here. overall i had a blast playing this.
So I had a little trouble downloading at first but I figured it out. I'll explain what I did.
1. Click download (duh)
2. Double click the zipped folder
3. Click on the application called ShiftAtMidnight (or paste ShiftAtMidnight.exe in search)
4. Something will pop up with some options, click Extract All
5. Once its done loading a new set of files shows up and you click on the application called ShiftAtMidnight (or paste ShiftAtMidnight.exe in search)
6. Once you click that the game will pop up on your screen
If you're not sure which files to click on just go to the Search ShiftAtMidnight (mines at the top right) and paste ShiftAtMidnight.exe into it and the ones you want to click pop up.
Very fun game. I've never played Papers, Please, or anything of the like, but I've seen others play it, and Shift at Midnight scratches that itch. I loved stocking the shelves and cleaning. The preparations for the Entity when you let a doppelganger escape the store was pretty tense. It really felt like you were holding the weight of the entire store on your shoulders
I did have a few minor issues, such as an exclamation point hovering over a shelf that I could not interact with. I ended the game with 99% stocked shelves because of this. The other issue was not being able to change the crouch button in the main menu. I eventually did change it when I got in-game, but I'd like an option to toggle crouch. Very minor thing, and quite picky, but the option would be nice.
Again, fantastic game. I'm looking forward to the full release. I'll be watching this closely!

I played this game for my Indie Horror Fridays and OMG this game is AMAZING!! I definitely need to be notified when the full game is out!!
